Hello my dear, beautiful soul, I know it may be hard to believe that your dream body lives here.
I know this because at an earlier point in my life I would have clicked on the title of this page (if the internets had been around then) pretty much in disbelief, but also with HOPE.
You’re here reading this because you’ve got a spark of hope and I love you for that.
Women today are living in a world that says the perfect ten is a perfect zero and we are bombarded with images of women that aren’t real.
Airbrushing, extensions, surgery, photo shop, and selective model choices lend unrealistic pictures of what women actually look like.
As mothers, daughters, sisters, & women of all ages and races, media delivers a brutal message to us, “You are only valuable if you are thin, rich, and beautiful”.
There is a different message though, one of your innate perfection. The spirit of you that was born. SHE.
The DIVINE FEMININE; strong, confident, and powerful.
Still when the mags rant, and the movies rave, and the late night infomercials say you gotta buy this ab blaster or that crazy work out program, turning down the volume is overwhelming.
Most likely you are not genetically coded to fit the media’s idea of a perfect image.
And maybe you feel bad about yourself so you harshly judge others who are ‘less than’ you and say some un-nice things about them.
It doesn’t end there either. On the other side of the coin lives jealousy, and when someone is super-model thin and others are not, other really un-nice things can be said too.
It is time to stop comparing.
Everything’s relative to personal perspective.
Fat. Thin. Tall. Short. Skinny. Built. Long & Lean. Short & Stocky. Fast. Slow. Late bloomer. Big busted.
We’ll always find reasons to compare and criticize others bodies, if we’re looking for the imperfections.
However, it’s only so we feel better about the personal trashing we’re doing on our own bodies.
It’s time to blow the whistle on this bullying.
Your body is neutral, meaning, the ‘shame/blame game’ you’re playing with her for being inadequate and preventing your dreams of rocking a mini or sliding into skinny jeans is really a ‘game of solitaire’.
You’re only hurting yourself.
How about a game of self-love, appreciation, body joy, and liberal movement instead?
Sounds pretty glorious, huh?
It is. Start small. One thing at a time. One day at a time.
Begin to accept yourself as you are now.
Then.You.Will.Shine.
When you release self-judgement you will find that the body of your dreams lives here, because here is where you are right now.
This acceptance is what actually allows your physical presence to shift and makes choosing healthily in favor of your ideal body effortless.
Get started today. You’re worth it. You’re beautiful, as you are.
