Whew, My girlfriend Leela is a phenomenal life and biz coach and I am lucky enough to have her as a friend so I get all kinds of juicy, free advice from her. I am going to pass it on to you, but if you want to get some Leela Love yourself you can check her out here.
So anyway, 10 days ago I was lamenting some detail of my life via e-mail (Leela lives in NYC) and she popped back with a quick…”give me your vision, purpose, and mission, and we’ll get you straight”.
Ha, who knew that would throw me for a grand and untraceable loop. I literally stopped in my tracks. For all my visioning, intending, planning, talking, emoting, I hadn’t actually developed a clear vision, purpose, and mission statement.
And here I am 10 days later, for at least 6 of those days I was completely befunkled (yes I am pretty sure that is a made up word) and I had no idea of what I could even put on paper.
Then I googled that shit. You know…Vision, Purpose, Mission, I googled a vs. on it and got this awesome clarity on the three. Read below for deets and check out where I got the info here.
The variation is this:
Vision: What you SEE for the world
Purpose: Who you are meant to BE in the world
Mission: What you are meant to DO in the world
From here I was able to create my life on paper. Seriously, you can really google anything! I wrote it all down and now I am posting it here so there is no escaping from it. Because you CAN google anything and find anything, even stuff people try to delete!
What I SEE for the world: Every individual shining their own unique light on consciousness with acceptance and inclusion
Who I am meant to BE in the world: A spark for inclusion and acceptance. People are able to see their own unique light through my eyes, support and encouragement.
What I am meant to DO in the world: Show people their unique light through movement, health, fitness, and empowerment classes.
Okay so it is a ROUGH, rough, draft. I am still working with it, but I am farther along than I was 10 days ago. I have a clearer vision, I feel more set, I am ready to bust out with what I have in play right now.
What are you putting in play? What do you see? Who will you be? What will you do?
Give it up below in the comment section, it helps to suss things out when you share, and the best part is you get to re-draft it. This doesn’t have to be the end-all-be-all, it can be the beginning of getting clear on what you see, who you are and what you will do in this world. And that is pretty damn important!
