Today It’s Hard

By LVA

Today it is hard.

Yesterday it was easy. Like easy can be. I wiped off the frost from my car, I went to the store to pick up a few things. I dropped into Nighthawks to see Andrew, my favorite server. He made me a special drink I wouldn’t get anywhere else. I’d already grabbed coffee next door from Five Watt and before that seen Britt, my girl who does my lashes and makes me look beautiful. I’d done it all in one day, and it was easy.

And today I can’t do any of those things. None of them are available to me. So today is hard. And this is privilege. I can’t get a drink from my favorite person, I can’t grab a coffee from my fav place, and I can’t get my eyelashes refreshed,

Today it is hard.
