My WORST burn ever was skiing in the Rockies one winter with my friend Mike Geraci in 1983ish. Got so burned that my face swelled up like a prize-fighter post-bout. I’m paying for it now though with 2 cancers removed from this pretty mug thus far. Boo!!!!! I’m older & wiser, so I wear sunscreen EVERY DAY!
You are ri.di.cu.lous (in the best sort of way). I am a survivor of Stage III Malignant Melanoma and heartily agree with doing all you can to protect your skin from the sun. I would also suggest using sunscreens that are as organic as possible, like most personal care items there are lots of nasty ingredients that can be included in that sunscreen that are harmful to your health as well.
The EWG working group site: http://www.ewg.org/skindeep is a great database for learning more about the safety of products.
Monique, Thank you. I totally should have mentioned this. Organic ingredients, Definitely! What an incredible story to have survived melanoma as well. AMAZING! Love this link too, you rock.
I have always tried to take good care of my skin using it in natural way by avoiding to much exposure of the sun or just using my UV umbrella to avoid it and eating right of foods specially fruits and vegetables to my diets and keeps your skin looking young and preferred exercise.
That is so smart. And your UV umbrella protects you greatly I am sure. Also eating well makes a great difference, but protection is key. Love that you use your product for that!
