Hey lovelies,
I love music. It’s often the reason I make my day work. Each morning I play a song and dance. On the bed. In the shower. While I make breakfast. I jam in my car too.
Life can be a little unruly, challenging, the sun doesn’t come out, it gets cold, the days are repetitive, life feels mundane.
Music helps me. Music heals me. I listen and dance to music to light my fire. If you do too I’m glad you’re here.
One of my rituals is having a ‘song of the day’.
This is a select song I choose for my day and listen to a few (honestly sometimes more than a few) times throughout my day and dance, sing, jam out in my car to.
Sometimes I get hooked on one song but mostly I look for a new song each day to breathe new energy into my life.
I’ve been doing this for more than a minute, but now…I want to share my life force. It’s music. It moves me. It inspires me. It drives me. It soothes me.
Below you’ll find my playlist of songs for the month of March. Some might rock your world. Others you’ll not get excited about. My dream for you is that you find some music from this month that moves your soul to take action and go out in the world inspiring others.
This months playlist included a few powerful songs for me and I’d like to share…
Running with the wolves- AURORA
I often feel alone and wild. I believe in my purpose and passion but I always want to tell the truth and I feel like I chase the light sometimes. The wolves run with the moon and the dark. Sometimes I do too.
Stay a little longer- Lostboycrew
I have been searching for love. A person I can have stay a little longer. I feel like I’ve found that person and I believe in love. They might be quick to run. I continue to share my love. All I can do is offer my heart. Unconditionally.
I feel it All- Feist
I lost a friend to suicide the end of this month. This hurts my heart. I understand in parts of myself. In other parts I am thinking she didn’t fight. She didn’t talk. She held the gun. I love her. And in the words of the song. “I don’t know what I knew before. But now I know I want to win the war”.
This playlist moved me through a monumental month. I traveled to AZ to visit the sun. Denver to record a moving meditation album for young girls, and feeling through the heart break of losing a friend.
Please enjoy this music I danced to, cried to, and listened to in March. I hope it brings you movement, joy, healing, and most of all connection.
xx, Lisa-
