Love In The Time Of Corona: Part Two

By LVA

PART TWO:

The space was lovely, warm and comfortable.
She was happy here. It wasn’t her space. But it felt like it. Her friend Anna was out of town and she was holding down the fort. Really, Anna was doing her a favor giving her this beautiful space to pass the time. Anna knew that she didn’t always have a place to land since she ran her Airbnb’s and would bop around between them. Sometimes they were all booked at the same time and she didn’t have a spot to hunker down. For the weekend she was tucked safely into Anna’s beautiful condo and enjoying all the amenities including a deep soaking tub with all the extras of beautiful bath salts, fluffy robes, and a Sonos system that could stream her favorite playlists.

She drifted into the bathroom with her wine and ran some water for a bath. It was fun meandering through all of the high end choices of salts and finally selected rosemary salts with rose oil. Her favorite scent was rose. The hot water ran into the tub while she selected a new playlist to listen to and grabbed a book to read for the soak.

She was done with the swiping and ready to settle into the water for some peace. Then there was a small ding from her phone.

The connection.

He’d seen her profile. He wanted to connect too….

Stay tuned for part 3. Until then.
