Happy Friday! I bet you had a busy week. How do you feel about it? Productive, excited, inspired? If not, I’ve got the perfect tip for you. Take time to make a list of all of the things you accomplished this week; instead of a to-do list it is your ‘ta-done’ list. Get real and strip it down to EVERYTHING you did. There is no big or small. Only, “Yep. ta-done”! Here’s the thing… we tend to down play our daily accomplishments because of unhealthy comparisons to others or to our own self imposed expectations. When you take the time to write out -factually- all the things that you accomplish in a day, i.e, sent out 20 e-mails, spoke up in 2 meetings, returned 5 phone calls, connected with, and encouraged 3 people, smiled and engaged with 4 people that were of service to you, sharing with them what a great job they are doing, went to a yoga class, got a load of laundry done, steered clear of sugar all day *except for that delicious small vanilla latte which was so deserved and enjoyed -well by the time you get through it- you realize how much you rock, what an incredible go-getter you are, and how often you are positively impacting others lives which is pretty sweet.
