What happened yesterday, what will happen tomorrow, and all the stuff before and after is not what is happening right now. Living outside of now is uncool, stressful, and the opposite of staying H.I.P. (Here In the Present). It is challenging to live present in your life, however. For me, I like to think “STAY H.I.P” when I get stressed out and am worrying about latter days or ‘morrow days. It works like a mental string tied around my brain. Since I am generally a dork and not hip at all it is non-confusing way to remind myself to take a deep breath and drop into what is happening right now.
