It begins with a Fever

By LVA

“I’m sure you’ve got it”, he said.

She stared blankly at him for a moment before responding,

“Got what?”

“The virus. It’s taking over everyone.”  Then he explained it to her.

“It begins with a fever. You want to read everything the media puts out and consume it with a fever. The next symptom is shortness of breath. You stop taking deep, mindful breaths, and you start to react in life with shallow ones that bring up fear and anxiety. Then you cough it all out. You cough out negativity onto everyone you see. And it’s very contagious.”

“Is there a remedy?”

“Yes”, he said.

“It’s love.”
