I am back to training. That means back to my daily GREEN drink. People often ask me about this morning ritual (actually it is a nightly one too. I usually end my evening with a secondary version of it). Just for clarity…it isn’t always GREEN in color. It depends on the flavor of greens I use. There are three that I like, berry, kiwi-strawberry, and chocolate.
These flavors are so yummy! They also have mint. I steer clear of that one. I don’t like my protein drink to taste like my teeth brushing.
The major component of my drink and the reason I call it my GREEN drink is that is is made with Dynamic Greens. It is an incredibly amazing product from Metagenics that increases my energy level, my ability to detox, and the overall kick-ass feeling that I need when I am training. Really I feel SO good taking it I am not quite sure why I am not better about the ritual when I am not training, but I am more sporadic about it when I am out of camp. My morning version is the berry flavor greens, ultimate protein powder, glutemine, water, and coconut oil.
I blend it with an emulsifier. In the evenings I like to curb my sweet tooth with chocolate greens, ultimate protein powder, glutemine, water, and Justin’s almond butter. This product is by far one of my favorite things and I believe a total MUST have for anyone that wants to increase their energy and level of nutrition. You can get the greens through my favorite wellness center too, Lake Pointe Wellness.
