For 25 days (while Amy’s campaign is going on) I’m doing my own 10-ish minute workouts in 25 Minneapolis outdoor locations. I invite you to join me.
WORKOUT SEVEN @ LORING PARK
I love Pride week and Loring Park is the place to be for Minneapolis Pride festivities. I enjoyed a bike ride down to Loring Park with my friend Laura and we walked around a bit enjoying the scene before taking the long way home via the lakes. It was an awesome morning and I checked back in later that evening after the crowds had gone home to rock out this workout that I posted on my BODYReDESIGN website. I thought it would be only fair to actually do one of the workouts that I’ve created. My official review is that I create some killer workouts. This one kicked my butt!
- 28 step ups on each side
- 28 tricep dips
- 28 crunches
- 28 push ups
- 28 get ups
- 28 lunge kicks on each side
I got through the workout one time in 9.5 minutes and was breathing heavy.
Loring park was quiet after 2 days of craziness and I reveled in the peace and realization that only a few hours earlier there had been thousands of people milling about. How quickly time moves. This 9 minute workout moved really fast and I was grateful for it!
Verdict after day 7: I’m back to feeling on my game and my body is ready for week two of the challenge.
Do you ever pay attention to peaceful moments in otherwise normally chaotic environments, how do you enjoy the quiet? Leave a comment and share it with me.
