WORKOUT FOURTEEN @ NORTH BEACH CALHOUN
Sand workouts will kick your butt! And this north beach workout did that to me. I love working out in sand because it takes all the exercises you do and adds an element of challenge by moving on an un-even surface. If you want a great workout head to the beach, then you can lay out and enjoy the sun and water when you’re done.
Day 14 Workout: 25 workouts in 25 Days
- 25 push ups in the sand and pop up to sprint across the beach (100 yards)
- 25 jump squats on the other side of the beach and sprint back (100 yards)
- 25 tricep push ups in the sand and pop up to sprint across the beach (100 yards)
- 25 jump split leg squats on the other side of the beach and sprint back (100 yards)
Set a timer for 10 minutes and do as many reps through as you can!
Total time 10 minutes
Verdict after day 13: I love the challenge of running through sand. It makes my legs feel so heavy but it was such a fun workout to run along the beach in the middle of summer.
