I had my first hand therapy session today. After one week of surgery on my wrist it’s still a little swollen and doesn’t have the mobility I want it to have.
.::
My therapist passed me some tissues when I started to cry and said,
“Don’t worry, you’re gonna heal fast you’re not like everyone else”.
.::
“Everyone else” is average. And what’s expected of people is to be a part of the average.
.::
I disagree. I don’t like the middle.
.::
I’ll fall hard in my rollerblades in epic style and need surgery.
.::
And then I’ll heal at uber speed in epic style and be back at my atomic self in no time.
.::
I don’t want to be like anyone else. I wanna be me and I’ll always be an anomaly because I shaped myself this way. xx, L-
