A night of team fun and the finals

By LVA Leave a Comment

Last night we went into Dublin with a few bits of the team. It was a nice Irish night. We all sampled and tried new foods, listened to Irish music that was spotted with a bit of American music as well. We allowed ourselves to soak in the GRAND experience that this has been. Although it is disappointing to go to watch the live televised finals tonight and not be fighting, I have a strong sense that this is not my last international experience fighting, I have some time to grow, improve, and come back stronger than ever. I mean what is life without challenge? Tonight I will enjoy watching my weight division fight on TV (they were hand picked as one of the fights to be shown) and imagine myself in that place soon enough. There is a gala event after the fights and it will be great fun to celebrate together with so many countries. My heart overflows with gratitude for this life I live, this opportunity I have been given, this talent that was gifted me to fight well.
